When you're crying, and a stranger dries your tears — oy gevalt, does that hurt.
But when someone who loves you very much dries your tears — you’re still crying, but it doesn’t hurt so much anymore.
You know, when Mashiach is coming, it says: “Nachamu, nachamu ami” — “Console My people.”
We’ll still be crying, obviously — otherwise we wouldn’t need to be consoled.
But then we’ll be so close to God, to know: God is drying my tears.
And it doesn’t hurt so much anymore.
